tradegear aspires to bring NZ trades people and suppliers closer together.

tradegear is the interface between the end user of trade products and the New Zealand importers. On tradegear there is collection of branded and non branded products that have been imported into New Zealand and used by our trades people for many years.  

The direct supply model to trades people is new, the quality products are not. They are sourced from countries around the world including Britain, Australia, Japan, USA, Canada, Sweden, as well as, of course, from around Asia. The one criteria of choice is that they are the best product in their sector. The brands are internationally established, distributed worldwide and they have already been sold in New Zealand for many years and thus they have been thoroughly tested in our New Zealand conditions. The importers of the products themselves are long established and guarantee the quality of their products.

In the past brand choice in NZ has often been limited by the traditional retail and supply channels. Often trades people have asked "where can I buy this?" Each trade has their favoured supply channel but these suppliers have often had tightly focused stock ranges and do not carry some very useful consumables that are central to other trades. This need no longer be the case in today’s online world, hence tradegear was conceived.
