1st September 2011, New Name - Tradegear Ltd.

After trading as W. Peers. Co. Ltd. since 1934, the decision was made to change the company name to better reflect the nature of our business, i.e. importing GEAR FOR THE TRADE.

Earlier years saw W. Peers establish a strong reputation in the fashion industry for service and providing interesting new product. Peers primarily imported clothing accessories; buttons, buckles and bows from Europe, supplying fashion manufacturers in both Australia and New Zealand.

Fashion is fickle, but the understanding that a new or innovative product can add value, way beyond its cost, has been core to the sourcing of our current Trade Consumables range.
